Adelia Hwang, JD
Adelia is a graduate of Lewis and Clark Law School where she was an Articles Editor for Animal Law Review. Prior to joining ACC&D, Adelia was a Hearings Officer for the City of Portland where she served as a neutral adjudicator in cases ranging from appeals, code enforcement actions, and land use reviews. Adelia understands the tremendous value of transparency, collaboration, and rigorous analysis in decision-making. Her skills and experience coupled with her passion for improving human and nonhuman animal welfare is an asset to the ACC&D team.
Adelia lives in Portland, Oregon with three cats, a dog, and a husband. She regularly volunteers at her neighborhood animal shelter and assists rehabilitating wildlife as a volunteer for the Portland Audubon Society’s Wildlife Care Center.
