Katherine Moldave, MBA
Katherine Moldave attended ACC&D’s first symposium in 2002 and has spoken at subsequent ACC&D symposia. She has been a science and technology writer, held various managerial positions at Merck AgVet and Merial Ltd., and co-founded the veterinary clinical CRO AlcheraBio LLC. Ms. Moldave co-authored the first comprehensive report related to nonsurgical contraception in animals in 2002 and was responsible for updating the companion animal material, published by ACC&D as Contraception and Fertility Control in Dogs & Cats, in 2013. In 2015, she launched Turnstone Animal Health to provide business development services and scientific and science-based strategic communications to the animal health industry, as well as life sciences companies, biotechs, tech transfer organizations and numerous other clients that need to “speak” animal health. She is a faculty member and mentor for Curious Science Writers (cSw), an organization that trains and publishes the work of high school students who want to write about science. Ms. Moldave is also a coach for presenters at the KC Animal Health Corridor’s annual Animal Health Investment Forum and serves on the Boards of several non-animal-health-related nonprofits.
