Updated in 2013, this book is authored by Dr. Linda Rhodes (ACC&D Board of Directors) and Katherine Moldave, MBA (ACC&D Scientific Advisor), who were also co-founders of animal health consulting firm Alcherabio, LLC. Our 154-page Contraception and Fertility Control in Dogs and Cats reflects progress in the field between the years 2002 - 2013; information on the first commercialized products; and expansion of the research on future technologies and tools in part thanks to the $75 million Michelson Prize & Grants in Reproductive Biology, which was launched in 2008.
This report was contracted by ACC&D and supported by a generous grant from PetSmart Charities. Alcherabio was again involved, with Katherine Moldave as the primary author and Dr. Rhodes serving as a primary reviewer and author of one chapter.
